Paint it or not?
My front bumper has blemishes on it (road rash) that won't polish out and touch up 123 dIdn't cover them well. Most people wouldn't notice them much, but I do. I am looking for advice. I know nothing about professional touch-up, repainting so what should I expect to pay to paint the bumper gaurds on the front of a 2000 E320. I don't want the entire front bumper painted, just the strips that wrap around the bumper and have the chrome inlay. Do you think a good paint shop could repaint them with little to no visible diifference from the rest of the bumper? Cost? Thanks.

I had this done to my wife's C320. They taped off all but the bumper, sanded all of the old paint off, filled and premiered and painted. It looks new. You should do all of this. the bumper is flexible and needs to have the paint applied correctly or it will come off. I paid $350.

What color? Some colors are easier than others if interested in doing it yourself. Look at this link posted below on DIY bumper repair spray can...if you follow instructions to the letter you can have good results also.
(Just read your letter more closely if your painting only the rubber bumper gaurd you can use a product called bulldog paint adhesive to apply to rubber... so paint will stick/flex with rubber and wont peel or flake, you can try link below to find out where to order and also).
