I am looking for an independent mechanic for my 2002 E320. The car is a few months away from the end of 7 year, 100K miles, Starmark warranty. The car has 80k miles but the 7 years run out in August this year.

I'd appreciate recommendations for independent mechanics in Westchester County, NY (North of NYC). Mechanics in the proximity of White Plains, Pleasantville, Chappaqua, or Mt. Kisco would work best for me.

Is Bedford Park Motors an independent service shop? How long have you used them? Have you had any major repair done at their shop? How do they compare with Mercedes dealers in terms of price? Thanks

 

Yes it's an indy shop, a bit cheaper than dealer (can't remember how much exactly, hourly rate is maybe about $30 cheaper or something like that).
Depends on what you see as major repair - with my 2013 GL I have used them for coolant leak and regular maint. Nothing major, but they seems to be alright.
