need help no sound
just finish wiring up my alpine head unit to a scosche VW harness had to rewire the 12v and the 12v constant. now that i got power to it, i got no sound? anyone no what i did wrong? i wired up all the color matching the colors for speakers. but i think my problem is the bose amp signal? please help

Factory amp turn on
The factory amp turn on wire needs to be energized. I don't remember what the wire color is but what you need to do is plug the factory radio back in and meter each wire to find out which wire goes from 0 to 12 volts once the radio is turned on. You'll notice that when this particular wire is energized, you begin to here sound. Once you locate this wire, you have to splice the blue w/ white stripe wire coming from the alpine harness to this wire. This allows your aftermarket head unit to turn on the factory mercedes amplifier. Good luck.
