side skirt hardware - to mount 01+ side skirts on 98
Does anyone know what hardware is needed to mount side skirts from an 01, to a 98?
I was told that I might need some spacers or something
The only thing I got with the side skirts were the side skirts themselves and some screws

you are talking just about the left/right sideskirts below the doors, right? sideskirts from 01 w210 should fit perfectly on pre-facelift. i think bumpers might need a little modification, but sideskirts no. you should be set.

You need some small spacers that fill the gap between the skirts and the body. If you don't put them in you will have a half inch gap that looks bad. I have a set of the front ones and you can get the back ones from the dealership for not a whole lot of money. Bring them a VIN number from a 2002 E55 and they can get you the back spacers.
