Hey there. I have been thinking of deleting the resonator and doing the x-mod pipe. I was wondering if anyone knew which x-pipe would be best to get and where abouts would be a place to get it installed? If anyone can help me out with some information that would be great. Thanks a lot. Car is a e430.

It has a nice low V8 rumble now. I like it alot. Its my DD so it does not bother me at all. I put on a E55 mufler at the same time and it cost me $200 to take out the old put in the X Pipe and install the E55 muffler and trim the rear bumper.

I had the resonator removed and the x pipe installed for $60 a a local muffler shop in NC. The car is still fairly quiet but if you really step on it with the windows down you can hear the growl.
I think the E320's will sound louder with the resonator deleted vs the V8......................hope this helps
