anyone use side mirror COVER w/ blinkers
Dont know if url's are allowed here, but found this item on ebay at http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...em=1874601159. It seems to be a mirror cover with signal blinkers. Has anyone ever used this and does it just go over the existing mirror housing?

Hmmm...I saw these also, and would be interested in know how they work. I'm looking to add blinking mirror shells to a 1995 C220. Apparently, a W210 cover will fit on a W202 mirror.

I don't think they will fit. 
The 99+ blinking mirror is curved and will not fit the 96-98 w210 or 94-00 w202. You have to get the whole mirror assembly.

The 99+ mirrors are completely different...adding a newstyle cover only won't work. There are some aftermarket blinking covers availabe for the 202 and 210 but those have a long blinking strip and the shape of the cover is different (to house the innerlive of the actual blinker).
If anyone is interested in OEM W210 blinking mirrors with oldstyle 202/210 connectors, I have 2 sets left of which 1 set with memory motors.
