Seat Pad sensor wires all intact.. bad sensor?

I finally decided to tackle the SRS light and probable bad passenger seat pad sensor. After removing the sensor, i see mine does not have any of the cut wires like most are reporting. How many have had just the sensor go bad? I hope its not some other problem.

You SHOULD have pulled the stored DTCs codes to see what the problem is before doing any repairs..as It Will have a code for the Right seat in the SRS
for the child seat sensor...They do go bad and they are not that hard to do
remove the seat and take the bottom cushion off to replace the sensor

A friend of mine who drives a taxi in Athens (lots of W210s are taxis, go figure), showed me how he replaced the pancake sensor under the passenger seat. Turned out, a very heavy fare got in the front and put his fist down on the seat cushion as he was getting in. It fractured the sensor in half. It happens.
