Climate Control Unit not working - help !
Hi,
The air conditioning in my E300 quit working a few weeks ago ( EC light on ). I printed out a copy of the air conditioning troubleshooting guide and was able to get all of my codes, without any error codes. I assumed that I just needed a freon recharge and brought the car to a local mechanic. He dyed the system, replaced my high and low pressure switches and recharged the system. He claims that the A/C works fine when on his machine, but doesn't work otherwise. Now the in dash climate control is stuck in auto with the temp settings on both sides stuck on low. I can't get to the diagnostic codes, and now I cant turn on my windshield defroster or change my vents ( fan speed adjust still works ). Is there some way to reset/clear this ? Thanks in advance for your help

Hi - thanks for getting back to me so quickly ! Unfortunately I'm at work right now and the codes are in the car. As soon as I get home I'll log on and send them out.
