6 way seat not operating properly
I have a 97 e300d that has 6-way seats. As I start the car, the seats inflate properly, but after about a minute, the lumbar deflates. I am also getting a "lamp defective" on the dash, but there are no lights malfunctioning, no burnt bulbs. The car seems to be operating normally but I am worried I may have a short causing both issues, or a vacuum leak and a blown bulb I can't locate. Any comments??

if both front seats are deflating equally, as well as all inflatable compartments,
then natch, the leak is upstream. so check the hose exiting the pump.
bulb malfunction warning only covers external bulbs so be sure you've check
all of them, including rear plates, the "third/Dole" brake light, and bumper/
corner lights. check any bulb with dual filaments, ie check both filaments
