HI,

Has anyone installed the Pioneer DVD Navigation System in a 97 E420 while keeping the Bose speakers? Is this possible? Does it sound better or worse than factory head unit?

Does anyone have any experience with this set up? Are you please or do you regret it?

Can you please post a pic with the screen out? Will the screen block the A/C panel?

Does anyone have a better suggestion for a Navigation system that also plays DVD for less than $2000?

Thanks

Ed

You will have to bypass the bose system and change all your speakers since thay are rated at 2 ohms.try this website

YOu don't have to change your bose sound system it will work with any aftermarket HU all you need is line output adapter.

Cabby,
the best place to put the monitor is in the hidden pocket under the stock radio... then it wont block any of the climate control switches.

Seems like it would be feasable to just switch the storage compartment and the headunit to prevent and interferance. Then when the screen is in you still have a place to stash stuff.
