Installing new side blinker mirrors, Help!!
Guys,
Has any of you had tried to install the new 2000 side blinker mirrors on the 96-99 E class? I just bought a complete set with the housing and glass assembly, and I'm having trouble putting it on. If you guys have any ideas, please let me know.

the 00' mirrors have different coneector so you need to change the connector(mirror side) to the old one(car side)or if you want the fastest route just swap the motors with wiring harness to the new one it will fit just need to force it alittle bit.you need to run wires to tap it to the rear signal ligth which is located in the front door sills.

As stated, the connectors are different. Since most (if not all) US 210s have a memory driver seat, you need memory mirror motors as well...the oldstyle and newstyle motors are different...swapping motors will result in an off centered glass and isn't even possible in combination with a self dimming glass.
Swapping the old/newstyle wiring is possible but please note that the pinpositions in the adjusting motors are different...the connectors are the same, the wire positions are different.
