Question Proper Leather Care? What is Best?

Hi all fellow MB Enthusiasts,

I have a 1990 E320 and the leather on the side bolster nearest the door is getting to a point where there is rough scuffing, and I'm afraid it might begin to dry out and crack badly.

What is the BEST thing to use on my leather seating?

What brands are the ones to stay AWAY from?

Will tinting the windows really help?

PLEASE! NO SALES REPS! ONLY OWNERS FROM PERSONAL EXPERIENCE NEED RESPOND!

Thank you!
Johnny

It's very normal that the side bolster gets alot of scuffed mainly because of belt, jeans, pants rubbing the leather when you get in and out of the car.I only trust www.leatherique.com on my leather seats. The best of the best.

Mcguiars or however you spell it, makes a product called gold class leather wipes, available at most auto parts stores. These are great. Wipe the seats down with them well, wait till it dries, buff off with a clean towel. Smells great, good for cleaning spills , and lasts for a long time. Will make the seats a bit slippery for a bit, till your butt buffs off the rest of it
