SLV300E

Hey guys i just recently bought a 1992 300E mercedes. I was aware of this when i purchased the car because it wasnt a bad price.. anyhow, if you try to turn the car on in the "P" position it will not turn on. I must put it into the "n" position and off I go.
This is not a big problem but i like to keep my car in full function. Let me know wat you guys think.

Sounds like a bad safety start switch in the Park position. Not a big deal but try a dealer for the fix
