anti rattle spring

It looks like my driver side brake anti rattle spring fell off somewhere between my 400mile road trip is it dangerous driving without it? until i get back at least...

No. They keep the ends of the brake pads from hitting the outside portion of the caliper. You might notice a slight click when starting or stopping if it's real quiet and you have the window down.

There available from dealers for about $5 each.
