E320 wagon. Won't Start
 

I went out this afternoon to get a christmas tree. Once the tree was loaded in the back of the wagon. I got back in to start the car. Nothing. All the lights worked but no cranking. No sound.

I tried it again. Then everything off. door locked then unlocked. Nothing.

I call my mechanic. He said to try it in neutral and park. Nothing.

Lights are bright. The car seems good. It is minus 10 C.

I get a boost from truck. Nothing. Towed to garage. We try all tricks. Nothing.

Any ideas. The car is 4matic. The starter is deep job. Labour will be high!

Nothing happens when the key is in the crank position? Click?

Try to wiggle the shifter in N or P when cranking

or

Try another key

Battery
 

can be tricky.Lights can be bright and battery can be well below cranking range.Get it on a 10 amp charger overnight using the under hood charging post,and see what you get.

I have tried recharging battery. The code we are getting is N15/5. does anyone know what this is?

2030 No or incorrect CAN message from control unit N15/5 (electronic selector lever module control module) (P0600).

I don't know if it does, but I hope that helps.
