96 E320 keeps blowing fuse for interior lights
Hey Y'all
New to the forum.
I am having an issue with interior lights . The fuse (f3 , listed lights/cpu, under the back seat) has been blowing out and is doing it with faster repetition. It now might last an hour if I am lucky. I find no burned or chaffed wires or connections, but haven't chased down every wire.
Not fun on a roadtrip with a maglite. Makes it hard to pour that french roast while sitting on the shoulder.
You guys are great. The info on the replacement heater fan regulator was quite helpful.
I drive a :
96 E320, 140K on the clock
91 190E 170K
02 Saab 900 t, 160K
92 Mustang GT w/ modifications
72 Saab model 96, as a clown car with a red nose and bulb horn.
Thanks in advance

Aw come on guys!
I could use some feedback here. Fumbling to install the key in the night is getting frustrating. I now have to run with a maglight next to the seat . I still am finding no evidence of burn or chafe. One poster on another forum advised I up the fuse amperage value. I found that a chancy solution and a recipe for a meltdown.
Could use some help here, since wiring is my weakest point.
