Sattelite Radio through Command?

Is it possible to set up sattelite radio through the command system. I have an 01 E55 with command and I bought the car with the sirius antenna on the roof of the car and the wires running in the passenger side, I can't find where they go after that. I also haven't been taking anything apart really. Is it possible the previous owner had it set up into the command?

Not likely.

During the lifetime of the W210, SAT radio did not exist.

With a EURO Comand one could use the AUX output for the Sat radio..

You can use the AUX input of the Comand unit. It is located in the glove compartment. It is a regular stereo jack. To select this input go to System. You will see the aux option there.

Display will only show AUX. You can only plug in audio source in to the AUX input such as satellite receiver or mpg player.
Good luck.

Sure you can use the AUX input for SAT SOUND.

You won't see any song titles on the COMAND screen and the COMAND does not perform as the SAT receiver and the buttons don't tune SAT stations.

OP will have to find the SAT radio somewhere in his car or purchase another one and find a way to mount the control/display unit within reach.

Then, yes, of course, sound output of the SAT radio can be routed to the COMAND aux input.

lkchris, sorry i should have been mroe clear in my original post. I have a unit from my old 320, The E55 I bught has the antenna all wired up and im assuming its wired from the outside into the glove compartment? Do you know what I'll need from there because I don't have the power wires from the SAT unit, they took them from me when my car was totaled.
