You need to check using your vin and pay particular attention to the chassis cutoff numbers (last 6 of vin) on the parts site.
Blowers, reg and conductor plates were updated and if you are lucky you'll be able to purchase them as components rather than as an assembly.

I have the earlier blower motor as it is now. The one mentioned above I bought off eBay w/o the regulator in good working shape for very little. I was hoping that it was the same motor but I see now it is not.
Can this motor be fitted to the earlier model 98 (before the update)?
I don't know if this makes a difference but I did do the regulator update mentioned in the sticky this past summer (used W140 regulator).
