Sluggish off the line...
So I pull out of the driveway this morning and all is going well, a short hop on the "freeway" here in So. Cal and all of a sudden the character of my 2002 E320 changes, from a stand still the car is sluggish, even if I mash the accelerator pedal to the floor board it kind of hesitates then reacts (almost like turbo lag).
This happened once before, it was last year (08) around spring time, I went into a store and when I returned the problem was gone (re-starting the engine)
This morning though the check engine light is on...
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated before I take it into the sTealership as it is still under warranty (thank God for "Starmark"/CPO warranties)

any updates on this issue? I'm curious, if you had the codes pulled, did you get an indication on the throttle position sensor? I once had a problem similar that resolved itself, but the stored code was for a throttle position sensor.
