I would assume so - I think the Japanese unit looks similar to that. Interesting thing is that the climate control appears to be built into it.

Looks like the fire control system from a 1979 Russian BMP. Or not.

Apparently it's a head unit from a Japanese W140
How they made it work is something I can't explain.. I thought they were two different cars, but maybe they have the same wiring for the climate control. what do I know...

Det wed jeg ikke. I don't think it's Bose, since I've never seen a head unit from them. Maybe it's from a promising Latvian upstart factory??
Aslo, how do they get to 273K Krone from 11K Euro? The ecxahnge rate is 9:1 or so these days.

it's 11k EURO PLUS registration fees in Norway

I'm not totally sure what you meant by Det wed jeg ikke, but in Norwegian it should be "Det vet jeg ikke"

Actually, I just found it in EPC, it has part number A1408206826 or A1408206826 for Communication and Navigation system (CNS). and part number A1408204189 for Information and Communication system (INS) Only delivered in Japan I think.

Now don't go getting all Norwegian on me. You'll remind me of Aasgar from my submarine days who would get all bent out of shape if we called him "Oscar", or if we pronounced Tromsø like all Americans do.

Skål!

I don't think it looks very cool in the 210....

But I just retrofitted COMAND in my 01.. Haven't got the wood trim yet though, but it looks very good so far!

Hello!
You allready got you answer.

This is ICS system for Japaneese market, its also using an BOSE ampifieler.
I think its very good system works together with climate control.

Its possible to weld there an aux or rewire to an europeen climate control and use another aftermarket stereo.

Det är möjligt att göra det i Stockholm hos mig=)
