Unhappy Trunk doesn't open anymore

Hello.
I started to disassemble both of my rear door panels to change my window regulators.
I worked in the car an hour or so with the trunk open.
I closed my trunk with my regulators inside + my door panel.
Now my trunk doesn't open anymore.
I tried with the remote and with the button iside the car.
I can't figure out why and what to do.
I tried my mechanical key that works for the drivers door.
In the hole of my trunk it only goes in 1/2 an inch.
I can't get it completely in to open it manually.
I called a locksmith and they told me I had to disassemble the key barrel in my trunk. To get to the key barrel I have to open the trunk....
Please help.
Thank-You

If you've got any vacuum lines to the doors disconnected, reconnect them. Same goes for courtsey lights in the doors.

Then try again with teh key fob and console switch..

Vacuum line = hose carrying vacuum. Approx 1/8" (3mm) dia.

Check door lock and latch area.
