How to remove dash storage compartment
Does anyone know how to release and remove the storage compartment below the radio on the dash? I'd like to install my ham radio there.

Take the radio out. Underneath the radio you will be able to see/touch the storage compartment top. There will be a couple clips--just push them down and shimmy out the storage compartment. But why a HAM radio? You do know that they make telephones that are about the size of a pack of cigarettes and have absolutley no wires and can go just about everywhere. I believe they use cellular technology and are commonly referred to as "cell phones". Also, you'll look so much more sophisticated and dashing to the ladies if you don't pick up the HAM radio and say "Breaker, breaker! Anybody got their ears on out there?"
