1996 e320-Suspension Excessive body roll and uneventire wear
226k on my 1996 e320 
finished engine replacement 2 months ago. So I'm happy with a young rabbit running under the hood.
So around corners it seems like im going to lose it even at slow speeds... Lane changing excessive body roll then the body rolls back the other way after. I can mildly turn the steering wheel to the left and the rights at 45 and the whole car rocks from left to right...
Edges of tires are worn while the center of the tire isn't as bad...
I know its either shocks or springs or maybe a sway bar... The shocks pass my visual inspection and no fluids leak. The shocks are original but I am not sure about the springs. When i push on the hood or trunk the car bounces alot..... but it goes up and down 1-3 times after i had depressed the suspension depending upon how hard i bounce it. It sounds like it could be both... however im in a tight situation wiht money right now and I would like to know for sure which is bad or if all might be bad..

I may get contradicted on what I'm about to say regarding your springs. But, my guess is that either springs work, or they don't work. I don't think they really wear out, but I'm not an expert on this so someone else that knows will have to chime in for comments. I didn't replace my springs when I did my shock replacements at 135K and the ride tremendously improved.
