Has anyone found a good match for the white paint on the 2001 E320?
I have tried automotivetouchup.com with ok results. But the match isn't great.
I know that it's difficult to find a perfect match because of the age of the car... But in the past, I was able to match the white on my 1988 VW Jetta perfectly with an aerosol can.
So I'm thinking that the paint I got from automotivetouchup.com wasn't the best match, because I can see a clear difference in color. Maybe it was because I used a black primer underneath, whereas for my Jetta I used a neutral beige color? I didn't think that would matter because I applied way more than 3 coats of color over the primer.
Anyway, if anyone has found a good paint brand that makes good matches for our white, I'd appreciate the info.

I have had good luck with www.paintscratch.com in the past. They matched the WRX World Rally Blue perfectly with an aerosol can, and my black opal MB with quart sized can. I also hear that they will exchange if you are not satisfied with the match.

Song, get your color code and order the correct paint. I've got a can of #744 silver from paintscratch.com. IIRC, it was $$$$. Never tried it, I assume it's a good match. The paint stick was.
