100,000 mi. service
New owner / poster needing feedback on 100,000 service for 98 E300 TD. Cost is always a factor but I need quality service as total miles are only 100K and I have a 100 mile roundtrip commute.

there is no such thing as 100k mile service, but you could change the serpentine belt as a precaution if never been changed. oil change within time interval, air filter everytime you do an oil change, fuel filter also, glow plugs within time interval, coolant replace every 3 years, brake fluid every 2 years, tranny fluid/filter replace if it hasn't been done and after that every 30k miles or so, cabin air filter every year. you could replace differential fluid and power steering fluid also, but that would be at the end of the list, a lot of people don't even bother changing those. remember you have to use mb approved fluids.
don't forget to clean/condition the leather 3-4 times a year (or as you judge), and polish/wax the exterior of the car every 6 months (before summer and winter).
