2004 E55, 1997 E320 "Sold"
Hi Ed. The color of the wheel is plain "walnut" which is the darker color and which I presume most Mercedes our years have. The "light walnut" is definitely lighter in color and almost like orange looking with less swirl marks which does not really match the interior wood of the car unless you have a rarer interior than most.
Raymond, the wheel is exactly 15" in diameter around from all points. I'm not sure the exact measurement of the original but if you measure yours you will know if it is smaller or bigger, mikey.

I just received my wheel from this company too. I can vouch for its good quality. Wood looks good and the leather is a match. Kim, their rep, was very helpful. I'll post pics once I'm done.

I picked up this wheel from a forum brother. I've never been crazy about it. It's kind of thin and the diameter is large. It's very slick in your hands which doesn't appeal to me. It's an OE wheel from either an S Class or an SLK. I'm not sure. The air bag doesn't line up quite right with the space it's supposed to occupy on the steering wheel. Very nice finish otherwise:
