66,000 miles, transmission issuses already?

ok so ive had my E230 For just over a month now and im loving every minute of it

Having said that ive notice a few strange naks with the transmission, Occassionally on slightly heavier braking,
when coming to a stop the car feels like it downshifts hard into first ,
problem is it doesnt happen all the time and will very rarely happen when braking normally,
has anyone else had this problem or know what the cause or solution might be?

Any help will be greatly appreciated

Get the tranny serviced.I wouldn't go more than 35k without servicing these tranny's.

Not only the fluid, but also the contact plate may be the culprit at this age. I forget what the proper name for this part is. Anyone?

Serviced the tranny yesterday and the problem seems to be persisting, any other ideas?

This is fairly standard with MB. Even the new W204 C class does this.

If you've flushed the fluid, try putting it in W mode (rather than S mode) and see if that still does it.
