Sunroof baffle is loose

My sunroof baffle is loose. This is the piece in the front of the sunroof that pops up when you open the roof and deflects the air coming over the top of the car. Mine doesn't pop up all the way and it rattles when the roof is shut. I think the spring is out of alignment.

Can anyone confirm if the baffle should pop all the way up when the roof is open? If anyone can snap a picture of the spring and how it should be seated that would be really helpful. I will post a picture of mine for reference.

Thanks

Here are pictures of the issue. First is the baffle when I open the roof. Note how the baffle is below the surface of the roof (not in the wind flow). The next picture is when I pull the baffle with a finger. This is what it would look like fully extended.

Finally, the left and right side where the spring is. I'm worried the clips that hold the spring may have snapped.

Can anyone confirm: should the baffle stick all the way up, or should it be recessed?

Turns out the retaining clips broke. $25 (shipping was almost as much as the parts) from parts.com for new clips and springs. One screw and the part slides out. The baffle now has proper spring tension and doesn't rattle.

Mine also doesn't pop up (doesn't rattle though). Does yours pop up with the new springs? Don't think my springs are broken, also can't get mine to slide out, where is the screw?
