E320 4matic wagon
E320 performance upgrades

I am a new list member and recently became the proud owner of a 2000 E320 4matic wagon. I am interested in performance upgrades including chips (if they exist), sway bars, shocks, springs, exhausts and brakes. I am also looking for a good MB performance tuner in the New York/Long Island area. Thanks in advance for any direction
brgds,
Ken

E320 4matic wagon
e320 performance

No pics yet, but should have some next weekend. Did lots of mods to my prior car, also a black wagon but it was a volvo 740 turbo. Great sleeper which was able to do 0-60 in 6.5 secs. Certainly not fast compared to MB ability but surprised the hell out of many. Hope to improve the "new" black wagon with similar suspension/engine modifications if I can find them.
brgds and thanks for the welcome.

Re: e320 performance

Hey KenC

Not sure what your first priority is as far as mods but if you want to change your wheel setup you may want to try these guys

www.evosport.com or
www.wheelexperts.com

And they can offer a good variety of wheels and other stuff too!

Thumbs up D WAGON

Welcome KEN,I also have a E320 wagon (BLACK) and have
Installed H/R springs with one notch/bump spring pads front and rear looks good!! NO RUBBING!! ALSO fitted E55 wheels/tires (AMG MONO BLOCKS)and a MUST have is the replacement front side markers(REPLACES the amber ones that stick out UGLY)
painted in the body color from EVOSPORT!

On the PERFORMANCE end try a K/N air filter 4hp
UPSOLUTE software mod 12hp
and if your pockets are DEEP A KLEEMAN SUPERCHARGER KIT
Im SAVING FOR IT
also the only muffler (I think is worth anything )is the AMG E55
rear muffler sounds great and QUALITY is FIRST CLASS!

There is a couple of photos on www.mercedesshop.com in the
last meet in O.C. CAL ...

Good luck on the WAGON Mark

97 Mercedes Benz C280
'95 C220, any good?

I am looking at a '95 C220 and was wondering if anyone knows anything about these models. I am a current owner of an old '83 240D, which is indestructable. I am hoping for a similar condition of a newer one. Any suggestions or warnings?
Thanks,
Chris
