W211 Rims on a 1999 E300
I've changed my rims to the 16" double spoke w211. Thinking I didn't want to change the ride or gas mileage. However, I'm not 100% pleased with the look.
I've already crossed the lug bolt hurdle using a set of bolts off a C280. I guess the same bolts will work for the 17" W211.
What would the difference in the offset be from the w211 16" stock vs the w211 17" stock. Will it have any impact?
Any advise?

All wheels for the W211 chassis have 14mm lugbolt and the W210, W203, W208 and W209 have 12mm lugbolts. In short - they will not fit.
I've already had these mounted using, according to my MB dealer, some bolts off a C280? After 10,000 miles they seem to be doing fine. I could check my service bill for part numbers on the lug bolts.

Recommend you re-torque your wheels more often.
So if I avoid the w211 rims, what would 17" or 18" rims do to my ride and gas mileage?

I wanted to get some feedback on installing the five spoke w211 stock 17" rim on my 1999 e class.

Can you please post some pictures of these wheels on your E. I really liek those wheels and was curious to how they look on a W210. Aren't they 17's though?
