Ebay replacement headlight and tailights
Has anyone bought these kits??? I'd like to hear any experiences good or bad..thanks

headlights:
hard to tell the quality as they do not list the manuf. however, to nitpick,
it's not possible for the headlight to fit the 4 years of vehicles as the hoodline
had changed during those years and not backwards compatible.
all (and i do mean all) aftermarket projectors made for MB display poor beam
coverage. all come from Asia, even the ones marketed as Euro.
some of the Asian headlights even use bulbs smaller than H7. some do not
come with all the required bulbs. all display extremely poor beam patter and
coverage when owner attempts to fit with HID kit.
tail light:
you may need to modify back of tail light (sanding) to fit pre-facelift cars.
the LEDs are frequently reported to look cool close up, but at distance,
and in incliment weather conditions, perform poorly and difficult to see.
in other words, LEDs are of poor quality and not state of art devices such
as those you see on newst LED flashlights, e.g. CREE LEDs. also, with this
model, you don't know who made them anyhoo.
bottom line:
it's a gamble. if you have the cash to spend, you find out first hand and
report back to us. you also spend a few mins using the SEARCH feature
here and read other reports already posted here in the 210 forum.
