Hi All,
I am looking around to buy Bilstein sports shocks for a 98 e320 rwd and found the following model number from the Bilstein website:
Front: F4-B36-2156-H0
Rear: F4-B36-2157-H0
However on some of the websites I have been looking around: autopartswarehouse, partsgeek etc the bilstein sports are listed as being the following model number:
Front: W0133-1607621
Rear: W0133-1608656
I just wanted to make sure that these are the same shocks as the original Bilstein model number. The customer service was a waste of time. They had no idea. Tirerack has them with the correct model number but many other websites have them very well priced.
Any info will be appreciated.
Thanks

They may not fit up front if yours wasnt a factory, or aftermarket (ie lowered using Sport springs and shims), Sport vehicle.
Mine were almost an inch too short. No way to get the top nuts on.

BS Sports should only be use with proper lowered suspension otherwise the shaft is too short and could hit and damage internals on aggressive bumps.
