Instrument cluster light

Instrument cluster light
In my cars instrument cluster, the gear position and time does not light up properly I think. The pixels aren't out. Its just dark, but if I get up close to it, I can see. How do I fix this? Couldn't find anything from searching.
My temperature one on the left side works normally.

The instrument clusters have replaceable bulbs in the back. To access you must pull the cluster.. For details and tools required see here:

Note: A cluster that has not been removed for a long time (or ever) may be stubborn. Besides the hooks you can remove the bolster under the steering wheel and push from the backside of the cluster to help with the removal.
