Nope its not done, its been sitting all summer i really havent done much to it until the last couple of days...
Its been inside my front building at my shop and i walk by it everyday, but im not happy with the engine mounts so im going to pull everything back out and fabricate some mounts.
other than that i have the vacuum for the brakes hooked up,powersteering and the cooling system sortof worked out
the hardest thing was getting it to start with the key
ill be working on it all winter to see if i cant get it all finished up to atleast the point i can cruise in it

I purchased a 3 phase 400 amp 15 horse power welder thats about the size of a vw and aparently will weld steel, aluminum and stainless... so its time to start practicing haha!! ive never welded before

yeah i hope so too, i was working on it last night for a few hours and will probably end up working on it today also.... its going pretty good

I cant believe no one likes the white gauges that pissess me off haha! anyway it turns out i cant use the cluster, all that works is the speedo..... SOOO i bought a 6 speed cluster and it turns out its way to big for the dash.... my body man is saying cut but im saying no way dude... so i think im going to have to go with autometer gauges... which kinda sucks cause i thought it would be cool to have supra gauges.
anyways its running nicely and i havent worked on it much honestly i need to get working again but summer time is busy... my old man has a video cam i guess i need to borrow it.. i will see if i cant get one this weekend..
thanks for taggin along hopefully in a few months it really wraps up..

UPDATE
Ive got everything hooked up, i routed all the heater hoses the right way and now i have heat!! got the alternator hooked up and is charging at 14.1, still dont have money for a manual trans so i made a linkage and hooked up the old shift gate so its easier to move around now, and i finally got to drive it after 14 months!!
when i hacked the driveshaft it didnt come out all that well so im going to take it back out and have someone make me a real one... now all i have left is to install some electric engine fans and the exhaust and i can drive it around...
i have a 94 e420 i need to put an engine in to sell and also a 88 420sel that needs some love... so when one of those are sold ill keep going,
i want my body man to get to work and get this sucker painted but my body shop has been to busy for my personal stuff... maybe by spring it will almost be done!!

the engine compartment really looks impressive now i forgot to take pics tonight so ill post some tomorrow, i also got the interior all back together and everything looks normal now except for all the rust....

It looks much different now, the harness is tucked under the windshield wiper and the coolant lines are hooked up etc... but heres a pic of my freshly painted spark plug cover
