Side view mirror seems to be stuck between day and night mode. Half normal, half dimmed. How do I correct this?

 

Jimmy the Greek put odds of 10:1 that your mirror glass has failed and the next step is that the photochromic gel will leak out. The only correction is to replace the glasss, which you'll want to do before the gel leaks onto the paint and damages it.
