Check Engine Light---Engine Electronics---Please help
Hi. My check engine light is on. I went to Autozone to check the codes and got a p1533. I did some research on here and other places and found this: The P1533 code, on http://www.benzworld.org/forums/gene...codes-dtc.html shows P1533 right camshaft control device regulation solenoid valve (Y49/1)....I'm guessing that should be left, because there are two rights listed, and one of them needs to be left.
I did a google search for that part and couldn't find anything. I searched for the (Y49/1) and on http://www.autoenginuity.com/Mercede...tems-List.html I found this Camshaft Adjustment Valve Left - Y49/1. The problem is, I still have no idea what I need to do. Could someone please help? I just replaced the Camshaft position sensor, because I was told that may be the problem, but no luck. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
