2003 e320 wagon (210 chassis NOT a 211))
electrical problems

Driver's door electrical in my 2002 e320 wagon is dead.
Nothing (window, seat adjust, power mirror.) electrical in the driver's door works. Since it's adjusted for me right now, this means wife can't drive it & she needs to starting Tuesday and I'm leaving all week tonight.

Any ideas what a quick fix might be?

I noticed that all three of the above problems are related to fuse #16 ... but it appears to be ok.

Also the door locks/unlocks when central locking is activated, and the turn signal light on the side mirror works.

Thanks for any ideas!

mistery part?

I found this on the garage floor under the car. Don't know if it is from the car or not, or if it is from the car, if it's related to this problem. Thought I'd post it anyway....

Oh, new info to share: the IR sensor on the drivers door doesn't do anything, either. If I use the IR remote on the passenger side front door, the windows go up & down. If I use the IR on the driver's door, nothing happens.

the black cap is not a part of the car. it is a CAP protector for one new battery (in your case "black" is for the negative pole, you can see the - negative symbol in the top)

Dont worry about that.

Try disconnect battery during 2 minutes. but maybe you have your front door control module dead it is undr the driver door inside panel!
