The E-Class W210 makes Consumer Reports recommended used car list
In Consumer Reports w210 is rated with above average reliability and make the recommended used car list. That helps our resale value.
When consumer reports originally reviewed the w210 as new, they stated that it was one of the best cars they ever tested, although they couldn't put it on their "recommend" list due to reliability issues.
Apparently our cars have aged pretty well. I know that my w210 has been extremely reliable the last 4 years. The first 5 years that the original owner had it, not so much. They gave me an inch thick of dealer service receipts for warranty service.
