can someone tell me where the cps is located on the engine. its a 2000 model , thanks

98 Brilliant Silver E320 Wagon
Look down at the back of the engine on the left (drivers) side below the cylinder head. Black plastic with a wire coming out and a single mounting screw next to it. If you know where the flywheel would be, it is positioned to sense it's motion.

Easy DIY. It is accessable where Richard says. No need to worry about install as it is plug and play with no adjustment. Good luck.
