Talking Newbie E430

Hello averyone. I just bought my very first MB. E430 and I am totally psyched!
Great car just a few minor imperfections that I am going to need to get fixed. The first is the clock and temp LED reading. It is scrambled and going out. I can barely see it at night when I have the lights on.
Can anyone steer me in the right direction as to where or how to get this fixed.
And what should I expect to pay for this type of repair?

Thanks a million!

2001 E430, Obsidian Black w. Ash/Orion Grey, 195,000 mi.
Welcome to the forum. I've had my E430 for a year and a half and I still look forward to driving it. As for your displays, search this forum and Benzworld (and look through the stickies) for pixel repair and you will find a DIY that many members have used to fix this common problem. Your other options are to send your instrument cluster out for repair or get a new one at the dealer. Repairing your cluster will be several hundred dollars and new unit will be a thousand or so. Use the resources of the forum or you will soon pay the dealer more in repairs than you paid for the car.
