What do you guys use for a cup holder?
I yanked that piece of **** out. Anything retrofitted for that empty spot that works?

You don't unless you want to fry your tranny control board. It's a great place for the cell phone or Ipod. I have my power and tape connection in there.I took it so wife wouldn't put her coffee in there and cost us a fortune

Good plan.... Stupid place for fluids... window switches and worse, the transmission control module don't like to get wet.....

eh, Yup that's what happen to me... I had the joy of changing out that shifter module 3x Safe to say I can probably do it with my eyes closed now first one and 2nd one didn't fit right.. 3rd one worked like a charm. $1,300 job at the stealer ---- DIY $450

I can wedge my water bottle by the safety belt clip (right next to the arm rest & driver seat) fits perfect

What kind of cups are you guys putting in the holders? I think mine works fine. Ten times better than the cup holders on the E39 BMW.
