in my E430,

when using the Touch Shift

I am in 1st gear and it let me run all the way into the red without up shift to 2nd gear automatic, but I have to up shift to 2nd gear.
and the same with every gears, it lets me run into the red, until 5th gear "D"

Is this normal ???

Yes, it works just like a manual transmission. it just does not have the clutch.

 

It'll let you run all the way up to the redline, but notice that as you're slowing down and downshifting, it'll prevent a shift if it determines that by doing so you exceed the redline.
