U cant connect the factory bose AMP via RCA' preouts you need to install the unit & wire direct the 4 outputs (FL, FR, RL, RR) to the amp & DON'T forgot to wire the REMOTE (blue wire) to the bose amp.. i have this issue in my car too.. if you don't connect the remote wire the bose amp don't start up & noooo mooooosiiicc!!

Hope that help

Uuuuuuuu :S Radio YES, but cd/IPOD NOPE?

If you have sound with te radio stations the problem is not the car, i'm sure. but if you do not have music by the CD or IPOD maybe you have a problem with the unit or the hide-away unit of your pioneer... maybe is the setup/configuration in the unit. try reading the users manual to get some help buddy, someone tell me is the audio configuration of the system

Did you wire the blue wire to the antenna lead instead of the amp lead? That would explain why it plays the radio (antenna lead is hot) but not CD or iPod.

Nope.. no sense.. if you not wire the blue wire to the amp, the amp not turn on at any time. no sound at all (CD - IPOD- RADIO)

If you have sound by radio stations probably the bose amp is on and the problem is other (IMO)
