discolored glove box latch

The glove box latch has faded to a greenish color (the glove box is tan/beige). Is there a paint that can be applied, or would it be better to try and find a new latch? Every car I see with this color interior seems to have the same problem.

Different plastics fade at different rates even with the same pigment in them. If the door has faded as well then a new latch will not match perfectly. You might want to try paint as I believe that part is about $150 at the dealer. You might also find a used one but most people would want to sell you the whole glove box.

Good luck.

You can use Dupli Color fabric and vynl paint.I tried it on my benz
my glove box was faded and painted it black, oem color was grey. Dupli color paint works good.$7.00 a can beats paying $150.00
