Another transmission problem
My 320 is having transmission troubles so i thought maybe its best to get the Carsoft to read the codes. I have an OBD II scanner....but its not reading any problems. Changed the fluid and spring 10k miles ago and ran fine till last week when it started shifting hard in both 2nd and 3rd gear?? It wont do it all the time but, starting to get on my nerves and I know its not normal for it to be doing it. I have been going trough the site for similar problems but, cant seam to nail it down as of yet.

I need your help on this one

You need to scan for transmission codes; if I understand it correctly, the typical OBDII scanner will not do that.

Yeah, I tried scanning with the OBDII......no luck..............Iv'e ordered a Carsoft scanner last week.....should be here any day now.

i had no problem using my OBDII scanner when i needed to pull cell codes. what brand do you have?

I have the Actron OBDII autoscanner.............OBDII will not allow you to scan transmission codes.
