Steering column problem... HELP...

When the weather is warm outside and the sun is shining the casing around the steering column gets loose. When I use the turn signal the hole casing moves. Everything still works OK but it's very annoying. Has anyone ran into this problem or have ideas how to correct.

I had that happen to me once too! I was like WTF!!??
Then the next day it went back to normal...
If anyone knows how to correct that, please do tell.

I think it odd that when it's cold out the steering column doesn't move, but it must expand when it's hot. Causing the movement in the column. Just my guess..

Help ... Anyone???

I take it from the lack of response, no one has dealt with this problem before. I guess I'll have to take it in to the dealer...

1997 Toyota Tacoma 4x4

There are three screws holding the combination switch onto the steering shaft, they tend to work themselves loose. You just have to remove the steering wheel and retighten the screws. No biggie.
