Question Alcantara Ultra Suede or Suede 1/8" Foam Back Headliner

I am looking to go the route of getting a suede headliner on my car. Looking to find out if others have tried the cheaper suede foam back headliner now available on the market or Alcantara is the only way to go. There is a price difference of $80 per yard between these two items, thus I am asking before pulling the trigger.

As always, I appreciate any input.

Cheers

Fabio,

How did you get your A and C pillars black? Or did they come like that?

The benefit of using foam backed poly-suede is that it won't show any imperfections in the backing board and is more flexible, hence easier to apply.

Hey Saint how are you bro! the A-B-C pillars comes black factory in my car,i think the oldest models comes like that.. the only pillars i replace is the center pillars cause i put on the infrared moving sensors for the EDW, you can see in the pic, but my car comes with this factory color combination

I do not use the backfoamed alcantara i use the ultra suede as is. but is not very stretchable, the factory headliner not have big inperfections this way you can use the ultra suede. but i recmmend you the back foamed to save some extra work is more easy
