Fan noise when A/C is on........

Car is making a clicking noise from one of the fans when A/C is on. Turn off A/C and noise disappears. I popped the hood and its the right small fan when facing the car. I was hoping someone would have had this issue before and could give some insight. Im thinking that I could replace that fan blade and that should fix it. Anyone else have insight. I think its this fan. The single one.

Thanks!

Sounds like your AUX fan, in front of the rad....?

The drivers side fan is the drive motor and the left side is a slave. Check for debris or deformed cowlings first.

I'm having this issue now.
It sounds like the bearing is going out.
Is this fan easy to replace ?

Regarding the OP's fan issue---take the protective screen off and slowly turn one side, as both will turn and determine if one of the blades is hitting the rim---then correct.

FYI The aux fan only comes on when you exceed refrig and coolant temp---do you have an issue with either or do you have a faulty temp sensor??

FYI The right side blower and fan is 000 540 17 88, however the left is not sold separately, that assembly part number is 001 500 39 93

You may be better of visiting any scrap yard
