my plan for this car is to remove the phone under the radio and replace it with an after market radio... has anyone done this before? i want to keep the stock look and have the after market radio hidden under the flip down cover. i need any advise on how to do this i am skilled with radios and mechanics of cars but havent done a phone/radio swap before. does anyone know if this will actually work before i go and rip the dash apart to do this?

Do you have the radio (with numerical keypad) and then a flip covered pocket underneath? I don't understand what you mean about having a phone located there.
