Sounds like it would start working about the time I was done getting where I was going then shut off and I would have to start all over every time I drove anywhere. On the other hand, if it stays running while the car is off, sounds like a lot of dead batterys...

Seems to be based on just a single Peltier-element. And where does all the heat go? Inside the center console can't be good. The price is rediculous, all the parts you'd need are in a $30.- sodacan fridge they sell in department stores...
